Romans 10: 9
"that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead you shall be saved;"

Make - Seek - Beginner

Seek to Establish in the Beginner these three items.
Seek to Establish in the Beginner a relationship.
Seek to Establish a weekly relational meeting with the Beginner.
Seek to Establish the beginner into a “Self-Feeder” of God’s Word.
Seek to Establish the Beginner in a daily and weekly Prayer Time.
Seek to Establish the Beginner Sharing Their Faith.
A Disciple-maker stands idle in the breakroom and is approached by a co-worker. They commit, “I want what you have to be as happy as you are. The response is, “then you need to get to know Jesus”. The quick response is “No Thanks”. At that pivotal point, the disciple or disciple-maker has to make the same decision that has been dodged thousands of times before. Do I share my faith in Jesus or stay silent?

Why is Greg Laurie insisting that we need new believers in our life?
These three should be markers a disciple-maker uses when connecting with people. We are to go into all the world, at the same time we are to make disciples. Every encounter we have is a potential disciple-making encounter, therefore the approach to each encounter is and will be different.

The essence of Walk-n-Talk with Jesus is the relational connection between Jesus and His created. Jesus died on the cross to restore that broken relation between God and the created. When we who know Him bring alongside those, we encounter daily then they have the opportunity to join in on the relationship. In the 21st Century it is so commonplace to set up time at Starbucks, a local restaurant, or ice cream parlor to have one on one time with a friend. The difference now is the mindset of the disciple-maker. We go into each meeting with the clear vision that spiritual growth is to take place. We are called to testify about the one that lives inside us and proclaim Him with every breath.

How will this video help any believer better share the gospel message of Jesus Christ?
This is why the weekly relational meetings are necessary for it is through these meetings that the beginner can start to develop into a “self-feeder of God’s Word. A Self-Feeder literally sets aside time to read and study God’s Word. This is regularly scheduled and there are no misses. This develops into a natural habit, and although it may not happen at the same time each day, there are no misses. Thus, the second piece of evidence is that Sunday through Saturday, the beginner has a consistent reading of God’s Word.

How does being a "Self-Feeder" help your relationship with God improve?

When you get together with the beginner, talk about the various interactions they had during the week. Help them share how they brought Jesus into the conversation whether in action, word, or deed. Help them to see natural ways to share Jesus to take the pressure off “witnessing”. Show them examples of Jesus spending time alone with God. Help them start to feel comfortable praying out loud in front of their facilitator, and eventually friends. Have them write out a prayer to God in their journal, and then go back to see how the prayer was answered by God. Build confidence in their ability to speak in front of others especially during prayer time.
