Sending - Locally & Globally

If I am a disciple-maker; and we all are called to be disciple-makers based on the the Five Great Commissions found in Holy Writ.  As a disciple-maker I can help another to be a disciple-maker both locally and globally through the principles found in the following:
  • Faithfulness
  • Small to Large - It has to Start Somewhere
  • To Spread the Gospel We Must Replicate the Gospel.
Locally, we need to understand {have the same ideas} for every person who steps inside a church building whether they have been there for 1 day, 1 month, 1 year or they helped build the place.  Meeting new people and starting a relationship or ministry requires each person to start at the beginning.
Globally, through faithfulness, starting somewhere, and then being willing to replicate the gospel into another culture.  Noah Webster defined a missionary as “one sent to propagate religion.  Being a disciple-maker globally is not just propagating a religion.  It is the introduction of Jesus into another culture so that there is a reduction on t he 4.3 billion people that will never hear about Christ.

Fulfilling the Great Commission by making disciples begins with faithfulness within our immediate sphere of influence, "His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord." (Matthew 25:23)  Showing faithfulness in our immediate or "local" sphere is similar to the training and experience received in minor league baseball. When a player proves himself in the "local" arena, he is then advanced to the major leagues.  As the player grows in their faith just like a ballplayer, they take on new roles within the church.  Faithfulness in the Local arena of the church
